Sporgyla by GuĂ°mundur Steinn Gunnarsson

"This is a scrolling video score with the royal recording of the BBC Scottish Symphony performing Sporgýla in 2014, a 5 minute excerpt in the form of a scrolling score video. It divides the orchestra into 6 groups, using 6 different screens. It was conducted by Ilan Volkov, altough the performance as such didn't use a conductor - but it was directed by him. To my knowledge it is the first time an orchestra of any stature performed from multi channel experimental music notation of this sort. I edited the 6 screens into a simple montage, an avant-garde music video of sorts. Not that the video is in and of itself very avant-garde but you catch my drift." (text from YouTube description)
